Remembrance Cart Program

The Adalyn Rose Foundation was founded in 2019 by Adam and Chloe in honor of their daughter, Addie, with a mission to improve bereavement care and provide compassionate support to families experiencing the loss of a baby.

In 2022, the Foundation launched the Remembrance Cart Program after Adam and Chloe, along with other bereaved parents, recognized a common regret—they wished they had known how to make the most of the precious, limited time they had with their baby. While nothing can take away the heartbreak of losing a child, they knew they could help guide families through those heartbreakingly beautiful moments by providing the resources, support, and encouragement needed to create lasting memories.

The Remembrance Cart was designed to provide immediate access to memory-making supplies during a family's hospital stay, ensuring they have the opportunity to create meaningful memories before saying goodbye. The Remembrance Cart gently guides families through memory-making by providing thoughtfully selected resources that help them honor their baby and create tangible keepsakes during the limited time they have together.

When a hospital receives a Remembrance Cart, staff also participate in Gentle Guidance Training, equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and confidence to compassionately support bereaved families, introduce memory-making opportunities with sensitivity, and provide exceptional bereavement care throughout their hospital stay.

Max's Angel Closet

Max's Angel Closet was created in 2024 in memory of Max by his parents, Frank and Meghan, to ensure that every family experiencing the loss of a baby has the opportunity to dress and honor their child with the same love and care as any living baby.

The closet provides soft, thoughtfully selected clothing in sizes ranging from under one pound to newborn, along with personalized name plaques and other remembrance items.

Many families who experience loss arrive at the hospital without clothing for their baby, and hospitals often do not have appropriately sized outfits available. Max's Angel Closet fills that need by providing clothing that fits babies of all gestational ages, allowing families to spend their precious time holding their baby, taking photographs, creating memories, and saying goodbye without the added burden of searching for something that fits.

Every baby deserves to be dressed with dignity, comfort, and love. It is our hope that these simple yet meaningful items provide families with a small sense of normalcy, comfort, and compassion during one of the most unimaginable moments of their lives.
